ActiveAll data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Our web properties enforce HTTPS with HSTS headers. Lead data transmitted to dealerships is encrypted end-to-end.
Data Residency — Canada
CA RegionLead data is stored on servers located in Canada. We do not transfer Canadian consumer personal information to jurisdictions outside of Canada without explicit consent.

DisclosedEvery consumer who submits their information is informed about how their data will be used. Our privacy notices are written in plain language and comply with PIPEDA.

99.9%Our lead delivery infrastructure is built for high availability. We maintain a 99.9% uptime commitment for real-time lead delivery. Status updates are communicated proactively.
Data Retention Policy
90-Day PolicyLead data is retained for 90 days after delivery for quality assurance purposes. After 90 days, personally identifiable information is purged from our active systems.
Breach Notification
72-Hour SLAIn the event of a data breach that poses a real risk of significant harm, we notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada within 72 hours.
Opt-Out Compliance
Self-ServeConsumers can request removal of their data at any time. Opt-out requests are processed within 10 business days. We maintain a suppression list to prevent re-contact.

How do you collect consumer leads?
Leads are collected from owned and operated web properties where consumers actively search for vehicle purchase information and voluntarily submit their contact details. Collection is transparent with clear privacy disclosures on every form.
Do consumers consent to being contacted by dealerships?
Yes. Every consumer who submits a lead is informed that their information may be shared with automotive dealerships for the purpose of vehicle purchase assistance. This disclosure is presented before submission.
Can dealerships use leads to send marketing emails?
No. Leads are provided for direct follow-up sales contact only. Email marketing requires separate express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and is the dealership's responsibility to obtain independently.
What happens to a lead that is replaced due to bad quality?
Replaced leads have their data purged from active dealership systems within 10 business days of the replacement request. The record is retained in our audit log for quality tracking purposes only.
How do I report a privacy concern?
Contact our Privacy Officer directly at sales@stgtechnologies.ca with the subject line "Privacy Inquiry". We respond to all privacy inquiries within 3 business days.
